What Families Are Saying

"Lindsey Caruso has helped my children, not only with their math skills, but also (and possibly most importantly) with their level of confidence in math. My daughters have never loved math, but they love working with Lindsey. She has lessened their very real test anxiety and unlocked their fixed mindset around math so that they KNOW they can do it now. They understand so many more mathematical concepts, and they approach new concepts with a more positive, growth mindset now. I HIGHLY recommend Lindsey for any tutoring needs!"

"Lindsey has been such a gift! Having a child who learns differently is difficult on its own but when they fall behind it becomes even harder. He has made great strides since beginning with her and I see so much more confidence in his abilities. Finding a tutor who is not only willing to find the way that works for him but also not judge where he is at has been so helpful to us. She truly sees him and works very hard to find any way to access his learning switch. We couldn’t be happier with her math services!"

"Our son was in a dark place with math, and we truly believe Lindsey was the superhero he needed. After working with her this school year, our son has a light in his eyes when math is involved, something we hadn’t seen before. He not only understands the material now, he enjoys it. Lindsey did more than teach him math, she boosted his self-esteem, awakened his consciousness, and helped him believe in himself. We’re so grateful to have found her, and he’ll be continuing tutoring sessions throughout the summer. Lindsey, you are AMAZING!"

"Lindsey is not only an incredible math teacher - she’s an extraordinary human being. My son had the chance to work with her during 4th grade and enjoyed it so much that he asked to continue learning with her over the summer. Her approach gives him the time and space to really process math concepts in a way that works for him - something that’s hard to find in a traditional classroom setting. Lindsey takes the time to understand how his brain works, validates his thinking, and helps him recognize that he often has the right answers - he just arrives at them in his own way. Working with her has given him a huge boost in confidence and a deeper love for learning."

"When Lindsey tutors me, she does a great job. She keeps things fresh and fun. With her help, my grades have improved and I am able to help other students who are struggling. She is kind and respectful, and while we have fun, she stays professional and teaches me what I need. Thank you so much, Lindsey!"

"We have seen tremendous progress since our 6th grader started working with Lindsey. In just a few months he has gained confidence, is participating more in class, and is back on track with his peers. His math teacher even called this week to congratulate him on his outstanding progess! Lindsey has been a wonderful tutor and advocate for our son and we are so grateful we found her!"

"Lindsey is a truly gifted teacher. One of those unicorn teachers who gets kids with learning differences. My 14 year old son experiences Autism and ADHD and traditional schooling has been fairly traumatic for him. Working with Lindsey has helped him learn how to learn. Lindsey has the skills and teaching experience to engage her students in exciting ways and find out what truly works for them. For instance she discovered he often works in 12's, rather than telling him that is not the right way to do it, she told him, that it’s a neat way of doing things and there are also other strategies that might be more efficient, giving him the option to choose which method he would like to use. We started working with her when my son was in 6th grade in the public school setting. He got more in his one hour sessions with her than he did all week. Half way through 7th grade we transitioned to an assisted homeschool program and Lindsey has taken a much larger role in our life, I can’t say enough about what a great teacher she has been for my son. She truly understands the way his brain works and how to help him unlock his academics."

"My kid used to have high anxiety about math and thought she wasn’t intelligent enough to get it. She could do everything correctly when I worked with her at home after school. Despite getting to the right answer, my ways around it, she was told, were not what her teacher wanted to see. I have met many parents facing that situation. Lindsey is so up to date with all that, ahead of the curve, that she quickly understood both how my kid's mind works, AND how to present the current material in a way that is easily digestible and enjoyable. My kid grew confidence in herself, felt safe and calmer because of having someone solid to help her if needed. She started loving math because she was good at it, and overall just looking forward to being with Lindsey. Lindsey is such a contagious role model of empowerment, motivation, and kindness. I have already recommended her to friends and will continue to do so. Now my kid is a freshman in high school, we are looking forward to continuing adding her to our schedule as my girl looks forward to these meetings."
